Privacy policy

Viki, a private single-user assistant. Last updated October 5, 2026.

Who uses Viki

Viki is used only by its owner. It does not offer accounts to anyone else and does not collect information from the public.

What Viki accesses

When the owner connects their Google account, Viki can read Google Calendar events, read Gmail messages, and create Gmail drafts. Viki cannot send email.

How the data is used

Google data is used only to answer the owner's own questions and carry out the owner's own requests, such as summarizing the day's calendar, adding an event or preparing a draft. It is not used for advertising and is not sold, rented or shared with anyone.

To understand a request, text may be sent to the AI model providers that power Viki, solely to produce a response for the owner.

Where the data is kept

Viki runs on the owner's own computer. The Google sign-in token and Viki's settings are stored on that machine with access limited to the owner's account. Email and calendar content is read when needed and is not copied into a separate database.

Google API data

Viki's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Access can be removed at any time from the Google Account's security settings under third-party connections. Doing so stops Viki from reading any Google data.
